I’m sure you’re all familiar with Steven Cojocaru, AKA Cojo – the fashion critic whose opinion appears to be the last word in fashion worn by celebrities.  Cojo is most known for his reviews of women’s apparel and fashion in clothing but I would love to see him give footwear the same critique.  Cojo – I challenge you!

Since the weather is cooling and the beach wedding season may be tapering off, more of us will set aside our flip flops and slip into sexy, strappy sandals for the upcoming holidays and parties.  Since we have a few months before all that gets started, consider the look of a pair of our beaded foot jewelry with your sexiest pair of heels for those date nights and clubbing with the girls. 

 We offer so many colors and designs that the only problem you’ll have is trying to decide which pair to buy.  We think theres a certain type of shoe that really shows off the beads – that shoe is typically one with an open heel and open-toed and just a few straps of leather. 

Wear the sandals even with a pair of jeans for a sophisticated look; wear them with your capri’s for a totally different look. The possibilities for starting a trend are endless – be the person who gives this “look” a try – who knows,  you may be the talk of the town!

Saturday was photography day at Jewels-by-Jan so I thought I would share just a peek at a few of the images that were taken that day.  Pat ….was…..awesome!   Our living room became his studio and he was right at home in front of his Nikon.   This was my first experience with a professional photographer and he truly knows his trade.

First of all, did you know that you can wear barefoot sandals WITH SHOES? See for yourself.  A lot depends on the sandal design and the type of shoe you choose.  A strappy, high-heel sandal works best.  Pictured is our Elegant Evening sandal with a dressy black heel.  I was ready for some nightlife….except it was 9 o’clock in the morning.  But,  you get the idea.

For just one more sneak peek, this next image is Desert Moonlight, a design that we’ve had for a few years that customers have loved. Great with your swimwear for the pool, the beach, a cruise or to match a belly dance costume.  Heck – just wear it anywhere!
